²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.  Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV)

Gentleness

: having or showing a kind and quiet nature
: not harsh or violent
: not hard or forceful

: not strong or harsh in effect or quality

Two sperate sets of verses come to mind when I think of gentleness.  One from the Old Testament and one from the mouth of Jesus.
